At First Presbyterian Church (PCUSA) in Ramsey, we gather each Sunday morning as a Christian community to celebrate the love of God we experience in Jesus Christ, and we invite you to join us! At other times throughout the week we can be found meeting together in small groups for study and sharing, working side by side in service to our church or the surrounding community, enjoying the gift of fellowship and caring for one another, and reaching out to provide healing and hope to people in need everywhere.

-Women’s Bible Study: “Living Beyond Yourself” – A Beth Moore’s Bible Study Series. Tuesday evening, August 10th, at 7:00 (and continuing the second Tuesday of each month) in the Metzger Room. Please let Beverly know if you’re planning to attend (201.327.3879 x 3; ramseypastor@verizon.net) so that she can provide you with a set of materials to review before our meeting.

-First Friday Fellowship will meet on August 6th for the summer barbecue at the home of Carol Dorsey. Please sign up Sunday during Fellowship Hour or call the church office (201-327-3879).

-Worship at Crestwood Lake Park with Highlands Presbyterian Church – Sunday, August 29th at 10:00 am. Mark your calendars and plan to come worship with our Presbyterian brothers and sisters from Allendale.

-Vacation Bible School for children 4 years old to 2nd grade will be held the week of August 16th here at church. Registration forms for this 9:30 to 12:30 activity are available in the Narthex and at Fellowship Hour. There is a limit of 15 children, so sign up early before registration is opened to the community! You may email Stephanie Van Heest at vans01@verizon.net with questions.

- Center for Food Action Summer Food Drive
Summer is an especially tough time for families that can't rely on school lunches. Please help CFA in Mahwah fill their shelves! All items will be delivered to each week by the Deacons. Please leave any donations in the narthex. Below are items they are requesting for July: Mac/Cheese, Canned Veggies, Shampoo, Baked Beans, Cereal (hot & cold) Canned Tomatoes, Toothpaste, Paper Towels, Spaghetti Sauce, Bottled/Boxed Juices, Coffee/Tea, Toilet Paper, Pancake Mix Pancake Syrup

- First Friday meets on July 9th for lunch at 11:45 in the Metzger Room. Remember to sign up on Sunday, or call the church office by Wednesday, July 7th to let us know if you can make it!

-Cablevision broadcasts our Sunday services in the Mahwah and the Rockland County system on Wednesdays, Channel 77 at 5-6 PM. This is in addition to the 13 towns in our Ramsey area that can view the broadcast on Tuesdays, Channel 76 from 5-6 p.m.
